These turboprop aircraft where built by De Havilland Canada until the company was bought by Bombardier Aerospace (now a part of Airbus) where they renamed the DHC-8 into the Q400. De havilland Canada was bought from Bombardier and it is now a part of Longview Aviation Capital in 2019
